Data Sharing & Marketing Consent

By registering for the Veterinary Practice Ownership Academy & Mastermind ("Vet-POAM," "the Academy," "we," "us"), you acknowledge and agree that:

• We collect your name, email address, usage data and other information about you. Your contact information and personal data — including but not limited to your name, email address, practice name, membership information, how you use our services and information about your engagement with specific lessons, presenters, or content — may be shared with the sponsor companies, vendors, and content contributors participating in the Academy (“Participating Sponsors”).

• Participating Sponsors may use this information to contact you directly for marketing and other purposes, including offers related to their products and services. You agree to be contacted by and receive promotional emails, newsletters, and marketing calls from us and Participating Sponsors.

• This information sharing occurs both generally (as part of your membership) and specifically when you engage with a lesson, presentation, or form associated with a Participating Sponsor — in which case that Sponsor may be notified of your engagement so they can follow up with you directly.

• This data sharing is a core part of how the Academy is made available to members at no cost or reduced cost, and is a condition of your access to the Academy and Mastermind.

Your rights and how to withdraw consent

• You may withdraw your consent to receive marketing communications from a specific Participating Sponsor at any time by using the unsubscribe mechanism included in that Sponsor's communications, or by updating your preferences in your account settings.

• Withdrawing marketing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing done before you opted out and withdrawing marketing consent does not remove you from the Academy; however, because certain features (such as lesson-engagement notifications to presenters) are integral to how the program operates, some data sharing tied to your active use of specific content may continue unless you discontinue your membership.

• For members located in Canada, this consent is express and is provided in accordance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

• For members located in the United States, this consent is provided in accordance with applicable federal and state marketing and telemarketing laws, including the CAN-SPAM Act and, where applicable, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) if you separately provide a phone number and consent to be contacted by phone or text.
